Multi Agency Registration

I have registered with a few agents over the past week and was wondering how people go about keeping them all happy at the same time?

i.e. More than one offer from multiple agents in one week, you’re going to have to somehow let one of them down but still want to stay on their books for future work? Would you tell them you have work with another agency?

Cheers

Luke

Hi Luke
One thing with agencies you dont keep them happy they keep YOU happy.see what they offer and take the job you want not what they try and get you to do “help its a rush job for an important client” which really means they have rang round and your last on the list.
Its important for the agency to keep you sweet coz what your getting paid working they get the same for 1 phone call.
Signing up with multiple agencies is the best way to keep working but only jobs and start times that suit you.

Jeff

Yeah I see where you are coming from. Just thinking though if they call and I’m already booked with an agent for the week what would be best to say?

Starting out I want to hit the ground running really…

Cheers

Luke

Agencies will remember if you drop jobs. Best thing is to say you are not available, that way the agency doesn’t have to know who your working for, sometimes they can get a bit nosy.

I’m on my first agency job 3.5t on Monday but not available Tues and not sure if I eill be working there the rest of the week. My time sheet requires the client to sign off work done for the week but if I’m not sure whether I will be going back should they sign it on Monday?

Thanks

Luke

I rarely get my timesheet signed. The agency will call the client to check so make sure you get tacho printouts or some other means of recording your hours in case of a dispute.
