I would think a quick phone call to VOSA would be the best bet. National number I beleive is 0870 6060 440.
Or your local VOSA Test Centre.

Local Test Centre, but don’t drive in, they may not let you drive out
If the mud flap is still OK on the other side, measure the clearance from the road.
Don’t reverse over high curbs again either
I think on a loaded trailer on the uk its 200mm with those trailers going on ferrys are allowed 300mm…Though i might be wrong??

I don’t know for definite, but that measurement looks about right.
Of course, with air suspension, it’ll make no discernible difference if it’s loaded or not.
Anti spray flap should be a minimum of 200mm (8" in old money) from the ground.

Ours usually get ripped off by people reversing into or too close to the guide rails on the bays, though most of the time it takes the entire mudguard not just the flap. I’d personally get it fixed before going out, they only take 2 bolts and can probably be pilfered off another trailer/truck.

Should that be a maximum of 200mm??
Depends whether its a registered foreign one…or an english registered one…
Foreign trailers often have no mudguards/spray supression attached from manufacturers build, and the same can be said for their side marker lights, if its a british one…you will get nicked for bit thats missing from your trailer, but not if its a foreign driver with a foreign trailer…
The reason being is that although all EU countries should abide by the same regulations, its only the english who do…or at least enforce it !!
