Just another day in the woods
Here’s one to get the Mr Sheen junkies reaching for the smelling salts

■■■■■! Use it every Friday afternoon whether it needs it or not!

I have one for decoration too. I don’t use it in case it stirs the dust up

Happysack, you should have put the picture of you boots as a ‘where am I’
You have the best job in the world if you like midges and mud.

I tolerate mud. I despise midges.

And the boss’ Jack Russell is leaving his paw prints just about everywhere else.

I will take guess at maybe peckfield. The worst place to get out of empty.well was when a was there last year off the tip down hill then try and get back up a mud hill in the wet with a right hand bend.

Been there done that [emoji15]
I’ve got an old seddon Atkinson dust cart stuck on a landfill as I tipped just after a biffa Lorry had tipped a load of old pepper and tomato plants I had to get shovel driver give me a push

Behind my trailer was a very large drop and the dozer driver was trying to pull me down it… Foot on brake he was just digging himself a hole but instead of me going backwards it dragged me down’ I was trying to snap the chain!! :smiling_imp:

Have HSE visited you yet? If not I doubt it’ll be long!

I loved doing that work, did a fair bit for London Waste. Bouncing along the tip is fun but I’d say it’s a job that many would hate

Driving a Moffie around a building site can be fun, but it’s better when you go from there with the wheels caked in mud straight to the middle of say, Chichester and leave a trail in the pedestrian area

Back in the day most transport yards were like that, was a nuisance when you went for an interview, came out covered in the stuff not knowing if you got the job or not.

Thats the one mate!

And why do so many people want topsoil this time of year? It sticks in the tipper, sticks to your boots and you can’t drive off road to deliver it. In the summer when it’s dry nobody wants it but will happily have it in winter and whinge about lumps in it.

Mud glorious mud on the engine hump in our 6w, obviously specced for agency drivers.
