MSC uks Volvos

Hi all,
regarding MSCs new Volvos on container work just noted there are 2 different liverys on them some have the old livery with fleet numbers on maybe Medite trucks, but several others have a more modern livery including 2x 63reg Volvo drawbars, does somebody else run these maybe someone from Felixstowe area may know, cheers Alan.

Goldstar are very up them if not all the way.

Goldstar use Premiums in MSC livery.

Aren’t the Volvos operated by Wincanton? As others have said, Goldstar use Renaults in the same livery.

I think the Wincanton link originated from Hanbury Davies, didn’t they use to have a number of liveried units for MSC?

I’ve never noticed MSC liveried motors in Wincantons yard :question:

The Volvo pictured above was run by MSC themselves and has now been replaced by a new shape Volvo.

Currently all Volvos and Dafs in MSC livery are run by MSC.

All Renaults in MSC livery are owned by Goldstar.

There are a lot of them in the Woolpit yard.

Wincanton took over Hanbury a while back and although they have trucks pulling for MSC they no longer have trucks in MSC livery.

If the different livery is simply not having a fleet number, there were several fh4 series in MSC’s FXT yard tonight without fleet numbers on them. If that helps :wink:
