Do a MSA need a operating license to be able to allow lorrys to park in them.If yes would it
have a maximum number that would be able to park up for the night. Last night came past Cobham
services they were parked every where including the car only spaces well over the number of lorry
spaces.
What would happen if they do need a licence and they went over the number on there licence.

They don’t need a licence. And yes, some MSA’s do allow overflow parking for trucks of a night. I thought this would be a good thing?

ask yourself this question
do msas operate lorrys if the answer is no then why would they need a operators licence
Maybe they need a licence to serve expensive substandard food, dirty facilities & charge a fortune for parking…
All MSA’s must carry an LTPM. This is an industry wide and recognised qualification. In laymans terms it is known as a Licence To Print Money. Hth.
