Pyrene/Chubb Fire had already made the move to rear engine vehicles by that time occasionally got a few of the older front engine Thornycroft types in for service and maintenance.Usually had the Rolls B81 petrol.
The rear engine Nubian 2 had a turbocharged 903 upgrade from memory.Only saw one of those before I’d left.Then they seem to have been fitted with Detroit 8v92 at least Chubb Fire spec ones.
