Yeah, I read that. To be fair to Vosa, I think they do a pretty good job. I mean you’ll always have the odd jobsworth.
I like the way they mostly target Johny Foreigner.
The fact of the matter is smaller operators are more likely to bend the rules a bit rather than larger firms as they may lose their work if they’re late whereas bigger firms have better contracts. No point being 100% complaint if you then lose all your work & go bankrupt for the sake of half an hour here or there.
Some larger firms do trade on a free pass though & complacency along with incompetence may creep in.
I, personally try to stick to the rules but occasionally I may simply make mistakes, sometimes largish mistakes when planning break stops. I just hope if/when I get stopped, I don’t get a jobsworth!
