That’s because they maximize the potential mpg by conducting the tests under lab conditions on a rolling road to increase their sales, and not on a real road.

That way they are telling the truth by actually achieving said figures, arguably unfairly, but albeit genuinely, and at the same time avoiding any legal action from customers because of false statements. :bulb: :bulb:

My previous Audis (4 cyl) have done 38-45 mpg local and it’s all up & down dale ,the v6 3.0 l Quattro I now have does 25 local ,30 running to stoke so on dual carridgeway ,and motorway 42 mpg of which iam quite happy with .they say these q7 like my bro has do about 16 local ,and 30 on motorway .42 is about what audi quote in the sales book .
