I worked for a haulier who used to refer to any lorry trip to Ipswich as ‘the Middle-East run’ . Robert
Maybe try GMA… I always see there wagons around the country looking pretty well kept.
Try Portman Logistics; they’re a container company based up near Stowmarket somewhere and do a lot of work out of Felixstowe.
Also Goldstar … similar set-up (owned by Turner’s now but keeps its own identity). Lots of container companies up there.
I’d try Kersey freight at hadleigh.Good kit.And well run as far as i know.

Nice.
Ipswich itself? It’s a ■■■■ hole The are plenty of nice places in Suffolk within reasonable daily commuting distance, both by the coast and in the countryside. Down by the docks is quite nice now but otherwise it’s pretty rough.
be worth you taking a drive down to Felixstowe and down at the 2 dock roundabouts + link road between them, are various adverts posted on fences for drivers wanted .

Ipswich is a good place to live it has its problem areas like anywhere else but on the whole good and is/was a great place to grow up shed loads to do in the area plenty of work and good links to anywhere. Plenty of container firms in Felixstowe few general hauliers in nacton and martlsham good and bad
