Moving to germany

Hi
all just wonded if eneyone knows if there is eny firmes near Bramsche or
around there

Hi Boost,
I’ve been living here for a few years now and I’m sure you will find something, dont tie yourself to Bramsche, you may have more luck in Osnabrück.

Post your question again, but on a forum that is for Brits based in Germany, you may find someone living in that part of Germany.
I can suggest…

www.britboard.de

network54.com/Hide/Forum/41930

The 1st board is a moderated one and you’ll need to register, but that’s just a formality, I am the only truck driver on it, but you may find someone from Osnabrück/Bramsche area.

The second board… (Called AWN Britboard) has a much larger audience participation but is not moderated and no need to register… but some replies are not as ā€œsincereā€ as they could be  .

I hope this reply with links wont get me into trouble with TrucknetUK.

your welcome

I think you will find if you can get a job driving in the fatherland, If you are a permanent resident driving a D reg truck you will need to take ggvs instead of adr. I worked in Rhein Phalz and had a lot of problems with B A G and even the factorys. We got round it because we had a depot in the UK, albeit only an office in a spare bedroom.

Good luck with search

Well back

job no problem only going to france and belge may be uk .
even my wife got a job not moveing yet we have feb next year just propety to look at and set a bank account up over there do you now off a bank that will let me set up over here and trans money there evry month .

thanks and have a nice day

got to learn deutsch that is going to be good

do you now off a bank that will let me set up over here and trans money there evry month .

My advise would be to do that the other way around, have a German bank Account that will transfer money back to the UK, only don’t do it monthly as you will be paying a transfer fee every month, do it 6 monthly/yearly as the charge will be just once or twice a year in stead of X12 :open_mouth:

got to learn deutsch that is going to be good

We all have to start somewhere, get here and jump in at the deep end… dont worry , you’ll swim.

Well started the ball rolling now house is on the market. need to find a web site with propety over in germany now and start looking.
