I’ll move to the right for anyone other than the pigs.
cieranc:
Do you?
When there’s something on the hard shoulder, RTA, Tyre Fitters, Recovery, Old Bill?
Every time if possible, failing that I’ll back off on the revs a little.
I remember only too well when I was a wrecker driver, and having to hang on for dear life to prevent the slip-stream from plucking me away from the side of the vehicle, I never used to think too much of it at the time, but I shudder sometimes when I drive past one, especially if the casualty vehicle never made the lay-by on a dual-carriage way

You’re an idiot.
I always move over even if it is for the blokes who put the cones out
Always move into lane two whatever is on the hard shoulder,a lethal place for anyone to work.
If I can & safe to do so
A Mate use to be HGV fitter untill he caught caught on hard shoulder now can hardly walk & has to lie down most of time ( government say he fit for work ) due to fact he cant sit does have spasms at times he does suffer with a great deal of pain not nice
The young lad opposite me is a HGV fitter now out on the road ( same age as son )
If you don’t change lane in the States, you will be nicked. It’s a legal requirement.

If lane 2 is clear yes always, It only takes a second for someone to forget where they are and step out between vehicles common sense really, I also move over on DC’s when drivers are sleeping in lay by’s.
Same as!! Better to move over for a couple of seconds than kill someone unintentionally!
Yes but it’s shocking how many don’t.

They should bring that in over here too,not just rely on peoples common sense ,cos some havent got any.
As long as there’s not a MLM sitting alongside me I’ll move over
I do. And if I can’t as the outside lane is occupied, I slow down significantly.
I always move over to lane 2 if I can.
i always do if its safe, if for no other reason it allows following trucks to see the potential hazzard.
always try to as usually some AHole too close to my rear doors to be able to see whats going on
Always. A family friend was off work for quite a few months after someone ran into his recovery vehicle which was shoved forward into him while he was working on a broken down vehicle, crushing his legs. He was extremely lucky that he wasn’t killed.
