Me too, although it didn’t give the option to select multiple answers.
I also lost 3 points as I got my coloured cats eyes mixed up, although in fairness it was one question that cropped up 3 times in one way or the other. You’d think they could come up with 50 different questions rather than ask the same ones over and over.
I got the cats eyes one right no problem, it was drummed into me during my training.
Another question -
If a two lane dual carriageway is contraflowed so that both flows of traffic are now on one side of it with those cones that fit into the cats-eye slots seperating the two traffic flows and a 50 limit is posted, the speed limit for LGVs is 40.
Now to the question -
The same sort of thing now happens on a motorway. contraflowed to one side and using the hard shoulder as a running lane, there are 2 lanes in each direction with those cones that fit into the cats-eye slots seperating the two traffic flows and a 50 limit is posted.
- What is the speed limit for LGVs over 7.5 tonnes

- Why
(clue - something else is usually done)

It is 50 dont know why, it is somehow safer than 56.
I know it is 50 because they are widening the m4 near cardiff and a few months ago they did this.

What else did they impose
- assuming the set up was the same as I described

Erm
Nothing else I can think of, just not allowed to go over 50.
EDIT: might be a width restriction
bubsy06:
might be a width restriction
Or a weight restriction on the outer of each traffic flow - WELL DONE

That is why they allow the 50 for LGVs in this situation and not on the Dual one I mentioned earlier.
The thinking is that they do not want two LGVs to pass close to each other whilst going in opposite directions with the possible collision speed of 100 mph - but apparently 80 is ok

Thought it might be as they usually have a narrower outside lane when doing roadworks
