Does anyone pay any attention to these stupid things, the little square ones are always displaying some speed limit or other for no discernable reason. There are very few people who adhere to them.
Today for example on the M25 about 3.30pm they were displaying Fog, yet it was a nice clear day.
The only times they seem to display anything accurate is when they have the letter Q on them in which case IT’S BLOODY OBVIOUS BECAUSE THE ROAD IS RAMMED WITH TRAFFIC. 
The bigger signs do occasionally display some useful info such as “M25 CLOSED J4 - J5” but why don’t they use the rest of the sign to give the the roads numbers as well, if you don’t know all the junction numbers you end up counting them off to work out where the delay is.

Ignored it and sure enough the next night the workmen where plugged into the grey control boxes again sorting it out …
