Didnt there used to be a public safety advert on tv years ago about not doing this, or do I dream it, also why don’t they show these any more, like the green cross code and good old Charlie lol.

Probably money, the TV companies will get more bucks for a DFL advert,they might also need it for all the MP’s expenses.
Do you remember Reginald Molehusband Years ago they made loads of traffic/driving short cartoon type films that showed people how not to do it. then what should be done, for all sorts of different driving scenarios.
What about the big signs that used to be at the start of every motorway slip-road, saying what was prohibited on the motorway, they’ve all gone, I believe that’s why we get so many hitch-hikers now.
Perhaps they could put posters on the sides and backs of trucks like they have for the think bike campaign.

So someone is on the motorway in front of you and you don’t think an emergency stop is the best thing to do?! Just find that a strange quote, slamming on the anchors is surely an automatic reaction.
