I’d say you were joining the M5 at junction 14.
If I carried on from there and ended up on the B4001 what major route would I have taken and what man made land mark would be visible from about 10 miles away (at night at least)?

Up to you to find the junction, bro
the nearest junction to the B4001 on a motorway would be j14 on the M4
don’t know the area though, so don’t know what would be visible
The only thing i can think of is that big aerial thing in Membury services

From M5 J14 you went south to J15 and bared left on to M4 towards london, then carried onto J14 where you left the motorway and turned left up the A338 took your 1st left onto the B4000 then right onto B4001 to lambourn where you would see the white horse.
Spanker, Dap and Liz … you are all right. Spank you beat the satnav, Dap you spotted the big transmitter, Liz you gave most accurate route and local info. On you go, where next from the B4001?
if i went back and rejoined M4 @ J14 what motorway and which junction would i be @ if i was outside the Honda Building?
You would be on the M4 near Eaton Datchet passing the honda building on your right as you pass Slough
junction 5
following the motorway network from there, what motorway and junction would i be at for the A5120
