Been driving for 8 months with an agency, and have come stuck with an issue I experienced today.
I stopped at a gate house, was granted access, so started the ignition. Drove forward and the above Tacho warning came up.
I pressed ok and it cleared. Noted it on my vehicle checks at the end of the day. Did a print out for my own curiosity, and at the bottom of the printout, it has the vehicle infringements where people have used the vehicle in the yard without a card etc, but there is also an infringement under me as the driver, dated today. Tried to look online to gain clarity but cannot find a code 80 fault. The icon which came on the Tacho screen is the same as that shown on the printout.
Will mention it to the TM on Monday when he’s in, but could anyone shed any light on it? Seems like I’ve got an infringement due to a fault with the Tacho.
