Do you find they’re located in one part of the country more than others? I find our Bristol customers very polite (and generous, Clarks Pies in Bedminster 
) whereas London are naturally grumpy (bloody French “Artisan” bakers). IME the Scots are very friendly and helpful, yet in picturesque touristy type places like Bromyard, Clee Hill, etc they’re miserable gits that act like you’ve turned up to roger their mothers.
Our customers in the Liverpool area are very nice but don’t give you nowt (at least they’re harder workers than their dockers).
I found that some stores are better than others. Today, I had two drops with really helpful staff members who helped with getting the cages off the tail lift and into the back. The other two drops I had seemed to be staffed by people who got out of the wrong side of the bed that morning.
anywhere up north i find people to be very polite.
One of our suppliers in Blackpool regularly get me a bacon butty and coffee ready for my arrival if they know I’m coming. Pretty sure its the only warehouse where the average age is 100 but they fly round like the pallet network lads. good craic as well, i wish all places were like them tbh.

Our customers nearly always come out to greet us, almost always bring us out a coffee, always come to us to sign our paperwork.
So we never need to go to them they always come to us even if its raining.

Have to admit that our Welsh customers are a mixed bag. They seem to go on about rugby, like I actually care about the sport. Still I do get tea and coffee off them.

I find that some companies I go to, most of the staff are helpful & polite & that’s how I behave towards them.
But other companies seem to have ‘Nasty Disease’ & it’s spread to most of the staff- funny that ! I seem to catch it whist I’m delivering to said companies & I wait until I get my signed & ‘PRINTED’ (that seems to be a problem with a lot of Forkies) notes back, then take ages to secure the curtains etc.(just to Pee 'em off) especially if it’s a Travis P Yard & their own lorries are waiting to get loaded.
