looks like fun.
I beg to differ.
Surely the most hit bridge in the world is Biffin’s Bridge!
Must be signed wrong surely?
Also, seemed to be quite a few motors from the same companies hitting it, you think they’d do a bit of driver training, or at least stick a note in with their wage slip or something.

I’d be sorely tempted to give them a note instead of a wage slip!
I quite enjoyed the caravan one where it lost all its accessories protruding out of the roof (aircon, sat dish etc) I don’t think they relised it had even happened, would have been interesting at the camp site when they couldn’t get stuff to work.
I love the womans commentary on this vid - “why did he do that!”
If it wasn’t for that low girder most of em would have made it.

Very good. This bridge even has a wikipedia entry:- en.wikipedia.org/wiki/11_foot_8_Bridge. Seems like they can’t raise the bridge or lower the road so, short of some sort of barrier coming down when an overheight vehicle is detected or people evolving more sense(s), what else can be done?
Edit: Ah, I see an elongated red light might allow some drivers to think about what they are about to do.
It certainly seems to take it’s toll on Penske’s fleet!
They have now put a new sign up .Its seems to be working.

Think you`ll find that Penske are a rental company, hence not professional drivers. Mind you, if there is a local depot to the bridge a sign in the cab might save some grief.
