What’s the most dangerous driving job you have done
working on the highways, M4,M25 and the likes
recovery on dual carriageways (A417/9, A34)
had a wing mirror up the bum from a passing bimmer (that smarts!) more near misses that n can remember, all caused either by drivers not paying attention to where they are going (not just cars either), and onve fatality in congestion caused by broken down truck i went out to, thanks to a trucker on the phone.

Was the fatal in the early hours, on the the A417 nr Cirencester about 4 years ago?
Recovery work in general, but more specifically the free recovery in the roadworks on the M1 near Sheffield, made worse by the fact that the hard shoulder was a live lane.
Probably the most dangerous one currently would be double manning anything with Backup & Destroy as your mate!
Bullets to Cyprus
or air canisters to stoke on Trent afterwards
Nate… who do you work for?

With a hiab , but sheets of plaster board or ply wood is too light to lift in these winds and yiu try hand balling it in this weather, I did suggest to the office that they leave until conditions are better but they said it has to go , when I giot back to the yard I asked if there was much on for tomorrow , nothing was the reply , so I should imagine I will spend the day replacing rain damaged goods …
Any that involves driving :-p

Don’t remember the air canisters.
Didn’t his house mysteriously set on fire soon after?

I would think that climbing up the ladder on the back of a fuel tanker and walking up & down the cat walk on top of the tank pulling the dip rods on a windy day must have been one of the more, err, interesting, jobs.
Present day contender must be car transporter drivers driving vehicles into no. 1 position on the top deck then having to get out and walk down when its -10*C
I read the other day on the 'Elf & Safety website of a sh*t cart driver/operative pushing the suction hose down through an inspection cover into a deep effluent pit when the hose kicked back causing him to lose his balance and fall in. He was working alone. He had the quick thinking presence of mind to grab the pipe to slow his fall - resulting in friction burns. Stood there in deep do do knocked about, bruised and very disorientated for 20 minutes until he realised he had his mobile in his pocket & was able to call for help.
being an english driver on the a75 lol
I used to look at those BNFL flatbed 40 footers going by with one very small flask bolted to the exact centre of the trailer and think ‘I wouldn’t want that job for all the money in the world’
