They’d have probably had more success if they’d blockaded the correct entrance.

Perhaps they did blockade the correct gate but their intention was to prevent vehicles leaving and not as reported to stop vehicles entering. The photo shows the gate that enters onto the main road opposite YPO.
The farmers were blockading the dairy at Arla recently, but nothing came of it really. However, when supermarkets are selling it at £1 for 4 pints, (Asda, Morrisons and Aldi.) I can see where they are coming from.

i live near a small Asda, don’t mind travelling a little further to the big one, saves me more £££ than going to tesco or Morrison not too far from home either…
Nice to see others taking a stance 
They are without doubt the worst of the supermarkets.
Used to be tesco…Look what happened to their profits this year
they was either up at the frozen side or invisible was in and out of there most of the day didn’t notice any bother
