can anybody give me directions, will be coming down the A420 from Oxford thanks
Best option sticking to A roads …There is B roads but I,ve never used them and don’t what they are like .
Down the 420 all the way to the 419 , head north towards Cirencester for all of one junction and come off at the A361 and go in the direction of the Honda Factory .
Bit of a vague memory but at the honda roundabout carry on up the 361 , straight over another one , you will see a snack wagon on the left hand side , at the next roundabout turn right .Follow the industrial estate all the way to the bottom , Morrisons is on the right , you can’t miss it .
You can only get there 20 mins before you tip , any earlier and they will tell you to go away .
It’s a brand new site and the gate house seems to be staffed by Honda japenese rejects , the staff inside seem to be all Agency / polish , including them running the goods in /out office .
They are a bit slow , the only consolation is that there is double lift forklifts .
The facilities are crap as well …
thanks Paul, got a load out of the NDC so will not start too early tonight

I’ve added it to the list of RDC’s, if anyone who knows the site can confirm that I’ve got it in the correct place please.

The first thing you need to do is sort out a proper waiting area .
A couple of plastic chairs and expensive vending machines situated behind some metal railings by the goods in/out office don’t swing it for me .
Also tell the polish girls to stop faffing with mobile phones when you are waiting for paperwork , it’s agitating as it makes people think they are only waiting for them and it displays a can’t be arsed with you or your paperwork attitude.
Also when drivers are tipped get them off the bays it’s slowing the operation down , they just sit there like lemons and hold everybody up .
Couple that with the dodgy waiting area and you have a potential melting pot for a cheesed off driver .
Paul,
Comments noted and i’m not trying to slope my shoulders here, 1st week in post so bear with me.
I’ll have a chat with “my boss” about the issue of waiting area…however, staffing issues i can deal with…had 3 on thursday alone to deal with, also dealt with a visiting driver not wearing steels on the shop floor.
The rules are there for all not just the in house staff. This is not an egg sucking contest, just plain old health and safety and common sense. Better to keep toes than lose them.
3 staff were fired for H & S breaches recently.
To put you in the picture though, goods in handle in excess of 1000 pallets per shift, so it does take time to get the floor cleared for the next load.
I’ll try to give you an update during the week…
