I usually try to avoid Trucknet as it generally seems to be populated by the sort of people I would avoid if I met them, argumentative, insulting, arrogent prats like billybigego.
Cāmon cloud burst, you make a snide remark about foil hats because I make a sensible & factual comment. That camera IS deliberately aimed at trucks, if you have ever driven the road you will see why. As soon as you get off the M6 your on a twin lane single carriageway with a camera obscured by trees at the bottom of a dip.

A sensible comment would be as others have done, that being to remind your fellow drivers of the score their in case someone has a blond moment or genuinely does not know the limit there and why it is such What you put was a Carryfast-esque conspiratory remark about how itās deliberately set up to victimise the poor old trucker You make it sound like the days of coppers hiding in iffy places and blocking speed limit signs in a game of entrapment a la every bad 70ās American trucking movie. I simply pointed it out with a humorous comment and off you go
I know that road very well indeed having traveled it a lot in the past 3 decades of driving wagons, not to mention itās barely a couple of miles from my house Iāve set them off plenty of times when I was running on Dutch and Irish plates heading to the house Yes you are on twin track off the M6 but in case you missed them there are rakes of speed camera warning signs as a massive clue to the cameras existence.

Actually that was a little tongue in cheek to illustrate Iām not some follow the crowd moron, I speak my mind whether itās popular or not and Rikki has pulled me for it a few times.
What Iām soooooooo proud of (in this context) is 3 decades of doing this job in all aspects with a clean licence, nearly 2 decades since my last trading of paint with anything and many other things.
