If you were the childish idiot Morrisons driver that on leaving your Northfleet depot tonight and thought it was funny to blast his horn as he went past the sleeping drivers parked up on the road outside at 1 o’clock in the morning well it was me who phoned your transport manager to explain that he has a complete moron working for him.
I do not understand the mentality of these idiots who think it is funny to wake up other drivers and just to add the person who gave me your offices contact details did comment that and I quote “yeah he is bit of an a##hole”

I have had trucks and cars horning me when
I was asleep, why do they do it.
I once reversed up a road, on an industrial estate in Reading to park up for the night.
At the end of the road there was a width restriction, only cars could get through.
I had cars beeping all night when passing me.
If you have disturbed sleep, it will make you unsafe to drive.
I understand your frustration but surely if you want peace and quiet you wouldn’t park outside a 24 hr rdc operation for the night .

I was not parked outside the DC at the time I was on foot looking for where I am to load this morning and was walking back to my lorry when this idiot came out of the gate and blasted his horn as he passed the other drivers who were parked up. Normal noise is not a problem I pull a fridge so am used to noise however the deliberate act if trying to wake up drivers is just pure stupidity. To be fair the response from Morrissons has been very good and I have been lead to believe that there is now an agency driver in Kent who will be not be working for them again.
Fair play to you Mazzer, the man is an eejit. You dealt with it the right way too, as tempting as repeatedly punching such a man in face would be, I reckon hitting him in the wallet probably hurts more.
Btw, there are very few things that twist my melons more than these inconsiderate gits sounding their horns to wake sleeping drivers.

C’mon! Man up!
It wasn’t me!
Though the guys in the office are pretty good and if they said they’ll deal with it, then they will, shame that we seem get more than our fair share of muppets from the agency on the night shift.
