More thieving scumbags

I’d like to thank the thieving scumbags who emptied my wagon of diesel while it was parked in the factory car park over the weekend. Carried about 60 gallon over a hedge and up a steep grass bank to get it in their [zb]wagon.
Nice of them to put the remains of the filler cap back in the hole so no water got in!
Good start to the week!

I’ll give it ten mins before thread is moderator edited.

They should all be put against a wall and shot.

couldn’t agree more with that comment :grimacing:

Couldnt you go to one of their weddings and spray diesel over the guests - Im sure they would feel at home with the smell, and Im sure you would feel better for doing it!!!

Truck manufacturers should invent a fuel tank alarm, similar to a panic alarm. When it’s forced open a high pitched siren goes off. Probably a million reasons why it can’t be done but hey ho.

These scums bags should be paraded through the town square. Named and shamed.

i wonder who will be the first to blame Maggie Thatcher?

Thats a cracking idea - if the tank empties at a rate a little higher than what would used flat to the mat, a gong could go off.

External alarm with ign off and interior when in use - so get a warning of leaky fuel systems also. :sunglasses:

There is one on the market, I’ll post the link when I get home.

No good if no one about to hear it.

20,0000 volts would a better than a horn ,
But the driver/owner would probably get done for infringing the thief’s civil rights !

I think some one put a link on here for an alarm on a similar thread to this one.
A sensor on the tank with a siren and light n back of cab.

Most of the fuel thefts ARE NOT THE BLEEDING GYPSIES !!! It is our Lit/Lat friends…
We have now got alarms on our new Trucks that turn the horn on and the flashing orange lights… This can be switched on or off from the comfort ( safety ) of your cab…)))

gypsies, lats, lits, whatever, catch them, prosecute them then THROW THEM OUT OF MY COUNTRY !!! :imp:

Solution:

Go to screwfix or some shizzle, buy a PIR standalone detector that has an integral siren and stick it on the back of the cab facing toward the fuel filler cap. When some bam breaks the beam it goes off, waking you up and causing them to run away.

Cost a bloody £10 at most.

if on a night out use a battery operated remote control shed alarm, there about 18 quid from b n q, screw the bracket on aim sensor over fuel tank, works great, when it goes off they will leg it .
