More pictures

Just some more pictures from my 20 years of part time driving.

Wilson transport (now RB) Merc outside my house after tipping in Leeds fruit market one night.

Another Wilson merc on my way to pick up a trailer from somewhere.

Although this says Salford Van Hire Wilson’s had just bought it and I had just tipped in Dronfield and stopped at home on the way back to the yard.

Foden I used to drive delivering Silica sand from Blubberhouses into Leeds - to make Whisky bottles.

Daf 95 I drove for a guy normally pulling bulkers but this time loaded with Rabbit food - I was delivering in Stokesley.

1st run with this brand new 95 loaded with fruit for North Anston.

95 XF last was the last artic have have driven for a while we used to do these FM trailers off Hull docks - and I did not knock of the side fairing.

Quality photo’s

nice old ones, brings a few memories back!

great pic’s i love the old sk merc’s. :sunglasses:

The white one is a 1632 (320 BHP) great after driving 1628’s (280 BHP).

THe six wheeler was a **32 I think.

the first lorry i bought was a 1625, even lower powered than the 28, all it took was a mod to the pump though and it was rated at 280, i was a bit dissapointed though as it didnt go much better and drank more juice! The truck overall was great it had the living ■■■■■ kicked out of it on site work by me for 3 years and never missed a beat, i broke a couple of rear springs on very bad ground and thats because the 25 had a lighter leaf. when another was added as on the real 28 problem solved. thrashed it was, but servicing was done stringent, i dont know how youd kill that v8!

Good Pics
