More questions from the wannabe to you experienced lot.
- “Agency Limp”… Whats that all about it keeps cropping up in threads.
- Maritime… These seem to be slated a fair bit, any reason why they should be avoided?
Just as important to learn the culture and ways of driving rather than just DSA questions i reckon.
All the best, Rob
Which Planet are you from…If you have some sort of LGV licence you must have taken an eye sight test then surely you know what an Agency driver is and have seen the Limp when it walks . ( dirty hi-vis and Bluetooth thingy in the ear and crumbs attached to the dirty shirt from the biscuits he has nicked from the truck the night before also)
And the Other question can be answered politely by saying in some people’s opinions they are fiscally restricted . By in the past ( cannot say about now ) selling a second hand truck to the driver and giving him less money than it takes to keep and run , to drag boxes about the country using up diesel by the bucket and then passing on the money to him a long time later until he goes broke and they take back the truck and sell it to the next wanna be OD. This of course is not MY opinion , but I have heard it said !!!
