Halls of Broxburn (Vion) have put their 1400 workers on 90 days. They are currently losing £79000 per day. There is talk of the work going to their English factories. Will this be more or less haulage? Burns seems to be the big guy in there and there is the pig hauliers from the north although the pig producers are talking of sending them to different Scottish abbotoirs.
it’ll hit a few livestock hauliers up here in the north unless they getting too haul them too the other slaughter houses.
Vion are losing contracts and not winning new ones.
