I noticed this in Spain a few weeks ago. There were a few roundabouts with ‘ladies’ displaying their wares - Hi-Vis vests on.
In fact I was surprised by the number of prostitutes in Spain - even in the shopping areas in Madrid - opposite the Police station approaching men quite openly.
Even more surprised to be blasting down a big open road in the middle of nowhere to see a deck chair and umbrella at the side of the road and a nice young lady, all on her own in skimpy clothing giving me a wave! If the wife wasn’t on the back of the bike …

The one profession I thought that was going to be safe from elf and safety interference.
Its a very slippery slope this, next it will safety helmets, 3 points of contact during entry, not being allowed on top deck without a harness, risk assesments for coupling, no split coupling, having to hand your car keys in whilst on the ■■■■■, no reverse entry without a banksman… and a variety of other elf and safety practises that can be related to coitus.

All the c-r-a-p we have to contend with and now we are going to be mistaken for prostitutes. Kerb crawlers stopping and asking you you “how much ducky” when you stop for a break 
I see the one in the photo even has her own red light!
Now that is some top quality reporting by the telegraph. The top picture is a female cyclist with a hi viz vest on & a rear red light, you can tell this as they helpfully label it, a woman wearing a hi viz vest! Looks like a story made up in the tea room over a cuppa.
Well I’ve just seen a driver from a well known old school outfit in what can only be described as a hi-viz assault vest 
I won’t name his company in order to spare his dignity, but it even had all the pockets on the front with vertical reflective stripes. Whether all his colleagues are made to wear these I don’t know.
