A firm that certainly didn’t go under but suffered massively from a cyber attack a few years back was Reed Bordall. They couldn’t load anything out of their warehouse nor unload anything into it. In fact they spent two weeks subbing to our cold store just to keep the wheels turning.
I wonder how many of us could still do a normal days work if the IT went down. Our lot can barely manage with everything working.

i know part of the tesco interview is to navigate 3 or 4 drops on a photocopied page out of an a to z. Least it is for the home delivery bods.
We were told it was in case the gps system went down. However having worked for tesco delivering to stores its more like in case their microlise system goes down.
All these hacks are the result of software written by 12 yr olds great big boxes in primary colours poorly coded with no proper testing. All run on windoze
Allegedly the latest hack in to the legal aid computers was made easier as they are using antiquated equipment, I’m not an expert so guess they found an open back door.
