Just heard 200 jobs to go at Autologic,formerly WALON uk.Due to a down turn in the market,with some 500 drivers,thats a 40 per cent loss…not good…
Yeah a chap i know drives for them and he has told me the same. 
Its a bad time to be on the cars, MCD laying of too next week approx 20 drivers going , one of them being me, so anyone know of anything going in the north west I’m open to offers, rang a few local firms but nobody wants drivers at the moment 
Is this the first year that no-one wants drivers for the xmas rush as I cannot remember (but my memory is failing as I am old!) another year where this happened 
We’ve just been told that our lot are Builing another two £10 million Warehouses at our Wadle site. Just rumour for now but no smoke without fire, i feel very lucky that our jobs seem safe(ish) for now.
I feel for anyone facing loss of work!
