Looks like were going to get more galeforce /strong winds and a lot of rain in the next 24-48 hrs (Xmas eve ) This no doubt has the potential to spoil xmas for some, not just due to accidents on the roads, but public transport, as currently the winds are already causing disruption to many of the ferry routes Dover- Calais P & O have warned there are delays , stena has issued a notice that Liverpool to belfast and Holyhead to dublin routes are seeing delays , and the storm hasn’t even hit us yet, met office forcast that the area around the English channel & southern england will see the worst
You seem like a cheery fella…Merry Christmas!
Well you never can be sure of the weather,But the forcast isn’t what you would want to be hearing, hopefully it will of abaited by xmas eve

Weather this time of year is always possible trouble. Let’s be optimistic and hope everyone gets where they need to go, if not on time, then safely

It’s been chucking down with strong winds all week down here on the south coast but it feels more like Xmas when it’s ■■■■■■■ down outside it just wouldn’t be the same if it was dry and sunny on Xmas day would it .

Got a bit “changeable” on the M4 mid afternoon today.
Bright and clear @j18,drop down the hill towards Brizzle, freckin hailstorm.
The temp dropped 8 degrees in the space of a couple of miles
I was walking across the truck park in Leigh Delamare when that hailstorm hit, had to duck for cover behind a sainsbury lorry whilst the worst passed

Dont worry…in times of emergency like this, all office staff will be sent home early for the bad weather and 80mph winds, and the warehouse loaders will be told to go home.
As soon as they finished loading the double -decker trailers for the night trunker
Currently rocking and rolling here in Cornwall
the M62 back from Manchester was a bit naughty with an empty 15ft curtain this afternoon as well
My best mate is stranded at Waterloo trying to get to Fareham - not a train heading anywhere in the vicinity
Was not too bad heading home 4ish but the rain has been constant - standing water was bad enough then, wouldn’t fancy being out in it now.
I’m bout 4/5 miles away from fareham it’s been relentless all day and is gettin worse. Trees down fence panels blowing down the road it’s not to pleasant out there. I think I need new windows to the kitchen blind keeps banging and the windows closed :/.
That wind has just woke me out ma bed
Could be worse…youtu.be/16XRUrSNdlU
