Been a while since the ‘Dougle’ has posted on here! After info on Morans if anyone has anything on them with regards to pay and hours? Any help would be much appreciated!

Are we talking Leeds Arla here?
They were recruiting a few months ago, probably still are. Start on the agency and then temp to perm after three months. Expect unsocial hours, some supermarket stuff mixed in with tesco express type shops. Most of their staff seem to Polish/Lithuanian/ and most other Eastern European.
Shifts are planned on 12 hour days, more or less.
It’s surprisingly heavy work, milk tets weigh 250 kg.
Don’t know about money, a mate of mine was there when it was Arla but took redundancy when they moved to Moran.

No not Leeds this one. So am I correct in thinking that Morans are agency then? I don’t understand how you mean start on agency?

Apart from management knowing about pulling cards at 15 hours and tipping on POA and taking breaks outside and fiddling the hours?

Are they too do with stobarts , at rugby we have our pumps and then there’s pumps for the rest , Morans use stobart pumps

Morans are pretty much like any other agency, only difference is they supply units and trailers as well, as for what they are actually like to work for I couldn’t tell you, I was just saying they’d lost some or all of the Tesco work they were doing…sorry I couldn’t be any more of a help

No dramas bud - thanks for the reply. Didn’t realise they were an agency…
They are by agency but unlike any other. They are effectively a subbie to Arla providing everything. There’s still plenty of lads working for them who transferred from Arla.
