Recruiting Lutterworth& Rugby 10.25 hour as advertused tonight in leicester mercury.I think they are running out of stobarts chill as they are using about 8 bays for the Arla work.Just a heads up thats all.Not agency!
Taking on in Leeds as well. Moving to a new yard down near Arla from the old MacFarlanes yard and also need a [zb] load of drivers for Tesco Goole work as they’ve (apparently) got part of the supply contract because Stobbies can’t find anyone to do it for what they pay.

i was assuming that was the Lutterworth rate, didn`t think Leeds would be on that much!

Don’t think they do tramping. It’s store delivery work for the most part but days and nights as I see plenty around at night myself. I don’t know what the f/t rates are but I’ve heard you can only get in with them if you go through their own agency which I understand is called Ace Recruitment. Do a search on this site for Moran as there’s another thread about with more info.

When I was at Manchester, they did have some night out runs, but mostly day / night work.
I believe it was £9.25 / hr through them, agency was paying £10.25 / hr (umbrella)…
I’ve not been there for a while now though, so things might have changed.

If they didn’t send x10,x25,x50 of there own drivers and trucks ( goole) down to work out of donny every day they wouldn’t have a shortage of drivers 
at goole I’d of thought.
But if there is a shortage of drivers wanting to work there ,It might be that dragging 75 apx cages of booze,pop etc off of a d/d with tins/ boxes falling onto your head( crap loading) wears thin after a while,alot think think after a while there’s easier ways to earn a living.
