Hi, did anyone drive for a firm called Moores in late 60’s early 70’s,

they were at Thorpe arch trading estate in Yorkshire and made kitchen

cabinets, they were still in business inthe late 80’s. ? :smiley:

They’re still in business now and have a large fleet of wagon and drags. About 3-6 years ago they were running MAN 18-223 rigids and Merc Atego 1823s but now they’ve disposed of those and run Volvo FM9 Globetrotter wagon and drags now. Still up in the far left corner of Thorp Arch estate too. :slight_smile:

i think it was about 1970 when their drivers won the jackpot on the football pools

I used to load flat-packed kitchen units back from a place called 3-B in Salgareda, Italy for Moores. Quite a big firm if I remember correctly.
