How will the £ sign look after another round of quantative easing?

it’ll always be better than those little french maggots.

Paul Gloria Meadows:
I’m a tramper and I’m away mon to fri every week, working around 70hrs a week. Then I tattoo all day saturday and quite often on a sunday too. Am I breaking the law too?

Big time…if you really weren’t aware - you clearly need the DCPC to help you out…

I was being sarcastic. DCPC is a joke anyhow. :unamused: :unamused: :unamused: How many people drive all week and then do some kind of paid work on a weekend. I bet its more than we think.

newmercman:
Good job I don’t work at your place then Toby, I look like death warmed up until at least 11am

So what difference is there between doing a paid job after your driving job and doing free work after your driving job

Anybody who has worked on their car or bike has worked, anybody who has done decorating, laid a patio, built an extension etc or gardening has ‘worked’ after their driving job :open_mouth:

The lad may be trying to get out of debt, or saving to buy his bird an engagement ring, he may be saving up for a flight to Ibiza and a big bag of E’s, he may have knocked his bird up and he maybe even saving up to buy a house or start a business, so would you recommend that we stop people trying to get themself out of a hole or stop being entrepreneurs and just leave new businesses to people who already have enough money to start

You asked for opinions, mine is to keep your [zb]ing nose out and let people go about their business :unamused:

I could get him those in Blackpool and save him the cost of the flight

I agree mate. I play in function bands from time to time at weddings etc. and I asked the DCPC chap if that would be illegal when I’m on my weekly rest…(it is, clearly assuming full time driving job and full weekly rest required). Apparently, 2 x 45 mins sets compromises my rest period. I asked him if it would be illegal to finish work then ride my motorbike to John O’ Groats then Land’s End then back to Yorkshire…twice…Ahem…that’s fine if it’s not work…I ■■■■■■■ ask you…WTF!!! :unamused: :unamused:

You’d be moaning if he didnt work and now your moaning because he works too much.

I got started with my own truck in the 80’s by night trunking for a company then doing multi drop in my own ridgid 4 days a week for the same company and getting paid through another of their subbies, the night trunk took only 5 hrs to do but we had to stay out for 12 on the instructions of the depot manager so got 5 hrs sleep most nights.

He told me he is doing security work, for the week end he got £240,and works after the day shift, fair play to him then.
