If you are going in to the paddock at Monza look out for the tunnel under the track if I remember right that is low.

If the load has any Adr or dangerous goods, it is necessary to stop at a checkpoint before arriving at the Frejus tunnel on the French side before getting to Italy.
The fire brigade control post will check the Adr paperwork, and sometimes all the Ppe kit for the driver and vehicle, fire extinguisher date tests and validity.
If no Adr, carry on as normal .
There are speed radars inside the Frejus and Mont Blanco tunnels, fines for running out of fuel in the tunnels.
If coming home via Mont Blanco, if heading towards France, while in Italy, you must stop at a checkpoint, they give a ticket to do with the emissions on the lorry.
Failure to get the ticket will result in being turned around on a round trip of about 50 miles.
Headlights on in day time in Italy.
The cities are gridlocked in rush hours.
Never leave valubles in the cab, even for a loo stop, thats why you see East European drivers with man bags over the shoulder or waist bags from the 80,s.
The food on the motoways is very good, if fill in the drivers application form for Autogrill, drivers get 25 per cent off meals.
In rural areas, there are not many truckstops, lorries can park in hotel parking areas.
