Monthly pay

so just been taken on by my local council where I was working via agency been told that a lie MONTH is required.

Familiar with the lie week but worked monthly pay before and never come across this, means in essence im going to go 8 weeks without pay

Just started with an employer that pays monthly, first time since 2005. Worked 2 weeks before they got their pay, Friday just gone. I got paid for the first week I worked and for time I’d spent there on interview/assessment. It would be pretty poor to go 2 months without money so they usually have some form of pay scheme to help out.

depends when you hit the cut off date for pay roll … you should only be out a few weeks …
Our lot were good I started on the 30th pay roll ran on the 15th for pay date the 23rd …
they should have a system in place to help you through the change over … ask them
