Money for O licence

Am in the process of applying for international o licence and just wondering if the figure of £7700 that has to be shown available in bank statements is correct or if it is higher or lower.

£7,700 for the first vehicle and £4,200 for subsequent vehicles.

It used to be £8100 but no one cares any longer

It was reduced because the actual requirement is 9,000 euros but the £ has weakened against the euro. The TC does still want to see it.

& we all know that £8,100 isn’t nearly enough to run for 90 days & cover fuel, tolls and (even just one) European breakdown during that time!!

That’s not what it is supposed to be for though, so it’s hardly surprising it isn’t enough for that lot!

I know Paul, but the punch line of the un-funny joke is that your expected to maintain a ‘credit ballance’ of the set figure all the time your operating.
