Please help to settle an argument. Do I need a ATA carnet for Monaco?
I know they accept the carnets, but can I move equipment - in free circulation - from France to Monaco and out again, without a carnet?

you may need a permit to go into Monaco depending where you are going…generally there is an 8 tonne limit for most of the city
Iv been into monaco with artic and i never had any permits or carnets dont think there needed as i was escorted round town by poliza and nothing was ever mentioned off a permit. Youll need ur wits about ya though lol its tight
