Molloy and Sherry - Dublin

i couldnt open that nitruck site.
is there any prob with this.
i see a pic of loane on here, an xf and a flat trl.
are they back in business?
and someone said millars are starting up again.
its like a blast from the past

Don,t think there,s any prob with it
works ok with me
As for Loane Transport they never
went out of business they just down
sized there fleet… There still have a right
few of loanes trucks on the road yet
most Scania,s and Daf,s.
Dont know much about millars and
what sort of work they do

:sunglasses:

Millars sold out to monty yrs ago i tink ! !

i have just noticed that only two of the wagons have the 6x2 all the rest are 4x2 anyone know why most irelands wagons are this way  ?

in ireland.you had to weigh truck and trailer.
the tax was calculated on net wt of these.
no use having unwanted axles weightwise.
in england, and this applys to ulster unfortunat
ely.
it was the same as england.
the more axles the less tax.

J Millar Transport of Randallstown sold out to Pandoro quite a few years ago,his daughter Isobel was featured in one of the trucking magazines “little lady driving big trucks”.
J Millar ran all scanias and pulled fridges on UK/Continental.
regards derek

i never spoke to her,but she was in carisio on many occasions when i was there.
in the good italian days.when there was customs clearance in and out,a little bit of time off.
how i miss that
domani mattina
the first words of italian i ever learned.
