The way I was told was started as Rowan Transport went bump carried on as Javerton t/a Rowan went bump carried on as Freshways t/a Rowan the star line I think was the container side or could have been another name . But every time they started back up it was with the same bosses , drivers , fleet and customers just no debt. most the drivers didn’t even know all we knew was that we worked for Rowan. O licences are a joke in Ireland Department of Transport hand them out in corn flakes boxes no one has good repute so that’s a none starter and there’s no such thing as yard inspections. Your operating centre is your mid terrace house in a housing estate. cops can’t read tachos.
Gave up the continent 2 nights sleep in 5 days out is a nightmare.

Theres also a Derry Furnitur transport company, they do a lot to and from Italy, got a really smart Volvo knocking about, that I know is jim Derrys brother. Dya know if their yard is still ther in Loughall, they sold the yard here in Marshalls X to A&M transport, who now sell trucks.
