I’ve just been looking on line for driver vacancies, and came across this ad.

Can some please enlighten me as to what a Moffat is.

thats not bad for driving a Moffat - no bunk though so hotels it is for the nights out - no speeding fines either as they do not go that fast - this job is looking great…

Hi Manxman, A Moffet is a forklift truck that can be carried by attaching it to the rear of a truck.

Upon arrival, the driver can then load / unload the truck without waiting for Mr/Ms Forkie.

If you put “Moffet Mounty” in a UK Google image search, you’ll get plenty of pictures that will show you exactly what we’re on about.:grimacing:
