so I have submitted my protest against the dcpc and booked onto my module 4 after passing the mod2 (by the way what a joke of an exam that is).
you never know I may even end up back on the road if I can get out of bed at silly times of the day/night.
is it a walk round check etc. as per the manual as for my near on £200 I have been told I get 4 hours training also they seem to think a dcpc taken on a 7.5 will cover me for my class 1 is this correct?
being honest rog I haven’t my main query was the 7.5 covering class 1 the walk round checks and security I reckon I could pass now without training (same as I did with the mod 2), I get the training as part of what I paid (again I think its so they can charge more but hey ho) I may as well take it.

My lad passed it a month ago no trouble with just a few hours training and he’s never driven a truck other than his week course and test. Hardest part is remembering to say everything you’re doing instead of not saying owt because its one of those common sense things you take for granted like making sure park brake is on before you get out the wagon to start loading/tipping. He said the examiner looked bored to tears, I reckon you’ve got to be completely useless to fail it.

that was my perception of the module 2 exam - one of the questions had a mixer truck and the question was which 2 part rotate through 360’
