well that’s it module 4 done and dusted achieved 100% which considering my hamfistedness with the chains was a miracle. To be fair the instructor was excellent giving me some leeway and hints and tips as I went along. I actually forgot to test the horn as part of the daily checks! But he understood my nerves and we laughed…however it would not of been possible without the guys on here and the wealth of literature and videos available so would like to express my thanks to everyone who posts the valuable advice on the site. And to those who have yet to do module 4 it ain’t so bad but get revising!
I’ve also passed module 4 today and was nervous and messed up. And the examiner basically told me the answer lol… fingers crossed for my test tomorrow 
Good man. Yeah the examiners seem to be very helpful when it comes to the module 4 a few lads were I work have said the same thing. Best of luck with your test that’s not as difficult as it seems just take your time and plan well ahead and you’ll be fine.

You’ll be fine mate your instructor should be helping you out get familiar with the truck before the test find the ministry plate, tacho seal and height marker and make sure you know were all the controls are so you don’t look like a numpty searching round for them. Your allowed to take a check sheet to help you with the ‘daily checks’ part I used one from were I work. It’s all common sense and I think the examiners are pretty helpful with it. I ballsed the chains up but I was talking my way through it and he could see I had nerves and was all thumbs and told me that he could see that I knew how to use them. Yea did a bit of training today then back in the morning for abit more before the test, hopefully it all goes well. Just need to keep looking through the questions tonight i think.
Well done Redbryn. Just got my module 4 left to do; hopefully get a test in the next week or two. I’ve been watching and re-watching the vids and reading up what I can on here. Loads of useful info to be had from the Trucknetters. I hope I get a dolly knot as that’s one thing I can do, being a total knot anorak
