Hi guys I have training and test booked next week. Can anyone give any tips/pointers to maximise my chances of passing?
In simple terms - turn up. 
It sounds really scary, but to be honest it’s actually a lot less scary than the theory tests assuming you’ve got a decent instructor. You don’t even need to know about dolly knots anymore although most will teach you that, but also the examiners do prompt you if there’s something you’ve missed.
You are also allowed a checksheet for part of the test, so make sure you use that as it’s much easier (the instructor should provide it) and just relax. You’ll be doing many of those checks in your sleep before long.
