TC i love the 2 man,s you done the bottom bar looks real well keep it up
thank for the kind words Paul, its appreciated.
I am really into this now and already have started the 5th model, but after painting it have encountered a problem.
I sprayed the body a fancy metallic black and after spending ages masking an area to spray another colour the low tack tape pulled all the paint off, so not best pleased and back to square one for a while, but will get there in the end, I know what I want to do with it, so rather than spray it I may see how steady my hand is…
I think next time I may well look for a decent undercoat/primer first before I spray them.
Anyone got any good tips??
heres some ongoing models from folk i know
not mines but i took it at one of the motor shows
Ive done something similar TC on the diesel tank on the magnum im building, ■■■■■■ me oof to be honest and havent gone back to it for two weeks! What gets paint off so I can start again?
These are typical problems most of us have come across, the masking tape pulling off the paint coat can a number of faults, firstly not having a primer coat on or not giving the top coat long enough to dry properly, I don’t mean to the touch but the underlying paint may not be as dry as the outer layer, some modellers wait a week before touching top coated cabs either with hands or to put on masking to spray another area. Low tack masking tape is better too. The paint can be removed with good old brake fluid or Mr Muscle is used by many although sometimes its easier to just strip the whole job and start again rather than make and mend. Thanks for the comments Franky, in my case I had not used any primer, and had let the top coat dry for about a day at best, so 2 lesson’s learnt there.
Will have a look at the forum link you added.

fellas can ya get a resin F7 sleeper cab kit
in short no,
but you can get a Renault day cab variant made by Heller, now out of production but comes up now and again on ebay
Italeri also did a day cab as a fire engine, by Volvo, DAF,Magirus and Renault, all users of the
“Club of Four” cab, all now out of production, but they do come up now and again
Hope this helps

Nice models. Whats the difference between an E2000 and a F2000 then? Never heard of the E2000
The E2000 is a update type from the F2000
Is E2000 the one built by OAF?
Have you got pics of Rawcliffes Scania you made?
