Thanks Pete your right it does look the business . We had briefly talked about a trailer but I think he treasures his wife and family more than a Tilt Trailer !!.Look out for it at Gaydon this year as it will be on show with the Thurrock Modellers lads.

still not got far on completing the seddon atkinson 400 and wasnt planning on building a tank to go on it…however managed to get a second hand esso jumbo tank from another member of the truck model world forum for a very good price. have tested it in the mock up pictures below and i reckon it needs just the tank shortening and a tandem axle setup. quite happy with the tank as its pretty close to the electrical oils tanks castrol had in the eighties…pete
i have now chopped the tank , reduced the 3 axle to a double axle and the hardest part was cutting the plastic out between the tank supports and filling in with plasticard.,pete

i had all the kits out the other night 1/24 and 1/50 scales and i have over 50 1/50 scale and 40 odd 1/24
and her answere was “where did u get all them from i don’t remember seeing them”
but my answer (in my mind)was i sneaked them from the post when u were out …didn’t tell her though.

here is my first ever attempt at model making.
Got loads of time on my hands now after having a heart operation, spent the last 3-4 days on this, made the trailer first and now moved onto the unit which will be a MAN TGA, and intending to do them in the colours of my own fleet.
Pity I dont have a bit steadier hand, but all in all I am pleased with the results so far. Let me know what you experts think.
It’s looking good Tony,model making was very relaxing when I used to do it,until something went wrong,like realising you’d glued something on upside down!
