Just a quick question guys, do you still have the rolling brake test as part of the mod 4?
Only reason I ask this is because I am doing my mod 4 tomorrow but don’t have my license yet! 
How can you do the test without showing your licence?
Because, in the dsa’s beautiful world, you can do mod 4, without the need for a cat c license as long as you have done mod 2 first!
Ah, I thought you meant your actual licence was away so you didn’t physically have it to show.

But from watching the online videos etc you actually have to drive the truck, albeit only a few meters, as part of the test!
Think you still have to do a rolling brake test. Mate did his a few weeks back and I’m pretty sure he said he had to drive to check brakes so assume this was what he meant. I only had to do periodic so can’t say for certain
You will move the vehicle forward a couple of yards on the off road reversing area as part of the walk round question.
As your test is tomorrow has your trainer not covered every possible question with you ?
Moving the vehicle is an option - but you don’t have to. We never do. The issues involved are testing brakes and speedo. In both cases, tell the examiner you would check them as you drive across the yard.
Absolutely no need to move the vehicle during Mod 4.
