Mock LGV theory test

I was just having a nosey around the Internet and came across the DVLA’s mock theory test.
Yes, I did have a go and passed, but not without getting a couple of questions wrong!
47/50 with the 3 wrong answers being embarrassing ones I should know. (there’s a lot of irrelevant duff that isn’t LGV or even driving specific)
Anyone mad/bored enough to waste 15 minutes and give their score?

Edit: including the link might help.

41%…

only got 1 wrong…

How wide does a load need to be before an attendant is required?

i put 3 meters not 3.5

1 wrong
Dopey me put triangle for hazardous load instead of diamond

anyone get the question about where the injectors spray the fuel??

3 correct answers there.

Into the carbs…Alot of older cars with out sequential ignition did just that

into the inlet manifold… yep lots of cars do this known as a wet valve infact i would argue that as the petrol needs to be mixed with the air all petrol cars do it in some shape or form

into the combustion chamber… Again i would argue only diesel engines would do this as the diesel uses heat to ignite the fuel and just needs the presence of oxygen to burn.

As the question is about trucks i guess this is a fair answer however, i remember when studying this for my class 2 test a few years ago it tripped me up several times

It was the stuff asking how long a tachograph chart lasts for (24 hours) and which air line is the auxiliary (blue) that tickled me…Timewarp, anyone?

297 views, 3 scores. I’m guessing there’s one or two here that may be a little too embarrassed… :stuck_out_tongue:

It was easier for me i studied it more recently than maybe others did

44/50 better than i thought.

Thank you for this link. Some 10 years since I did a theory test…
As I have all classes, I did all the tests less than 10 minutes for each.
Car: 48/50
Bike: 47/50
LGV: 48/50
PSV: 48/50
Cheers

47/50 1out of 3 right on other road users 2 out of 3 vehicle loading.
