As a qualified CSI investigator, ( certificate no: 01473 ) I am authorised to say that if it was a proper driver, he would have used the crane jib to haul himself out, by swinging the jib and attaching the cables to the biggest tree across the road, therefore saving himself huge embarrasment, and his company loads of cash…case concluded, btw, htf did he manage to park it so well ? That is another matter for one of my colleagues. 
I blame his boss, shouldn’t have told him to pick up a Christmas tree on the way.
